AMAC Executive Transport

 

 

 

Terms and Conditions apply to all types of hires from Wedding Cars to Stag/Hen trips

 

 

 

 

Acceptance of our Terms and Conditions

 

By paying the required deposit, you are accepting the AMAC Executive Transport “Terms and Conditions”. AMAC Executive Transport will not accept any hire without the hirer agreeing to these terms and conditions.

 

 

Deposit

 

AMAC Executive Transport requires payment of the deposit or payment of the full hire price to confirm a booking. Provisional bookings, where offered by AMAC Executive Transport are valid without deposit for a period of 5 days after which time you must either pay the deposit to confirm the booking or contact us to request an extension which will either be accepted or declined. After 5 days if no extension agreed, the date will be made available to other customers. By paying the required deposit, you will secure the agreed vehicle and driver for the date and price agreed between the hirer and AMAC Executive Transport 

 

Balance of Payment

 

The balance must be paid in full a maximum of 7 days before the date requested. If you fail to pay the final balance, you will forfeit the deposit and the contract between the hirer and AMAC Executive Transport will be deemed to be cancelled. Any extension of the payment period must be agreed in writing from AMAC Executive Transport before the balance becomes due.

 

Our published prices are for guidance only and must be confirmed at time of booking. Our prices are always the price at the time of booking and not the price at the time of the hirers event, protecting you from any future increases. Our price is all inclusive - we do not have any hidden extras.

 

 

No Smoking

 

We operate a strictly No Smoking policy in any of our vehicles.

 

 

Changes

 

You are welcome to request changes to your hire at any time prior to the commencement of the hire period. It will be at our discretion if we can agree to these changes. We will endeavour to accommodate changes requested during the hire period. We do not charge for changes where it does not involve additional cars, drivers or expense.

 

Cancellation

 

Cancellation of a confirmed booking will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. If you cancel within 8 weeks of the hire date then 50% of the hire charge is payable. If you cancel within 4 weeks of the hire date then 100% of the hire charge is payable, 

AMAC Executive Transport recommends that you consider cancellation insurance to cover the charges above, however AMAC Executive Travel does not offer such insurance. Cancellation of a confirmed booking must be made in writing/email to AMAC Executive Transport and is effective on the date received by us.

 

 

Refusal to Carry

 

The driver has the right to refuse entry to the vehicle under his control to any person who is, or appears to be under the excessive influence of alcohol or ANY illegal substances. Any offensive, abusive or intimidating behaviour directed at the driver and/or the vehicle in their charge by the hirer or any member of the hirers party or guests will result in the termination of hire. Any claim or compensation will not be accepted under these conditions and AMAC Executive Transport decision is final. Image and video capturing equipment is used in all of our vehicles.

 

 

Personal Belongings

 

AMAC Executive Transport will make every effort to ensure that there is no damage or loss to the hirer’s property. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that all personal items are removed from the vehicle at the end of the hire period.

Any items found in the vehicle will will be held for a period of one month from the date of hire, hirer will be notified on discovery of any items via email or telephone. It will be the responsibility of the hirer to arrange collection of any items. 

Valuables left in the vehicle are the responsibility of the passenger. We accept no responsibility for personal belongings or clothing that may become dirty, damaged or lost when using our vehicle.

 

 

Seating

 

We may carry children however they must be under the supervision of an appropriate adult. Where, because of the age of a child, a special seat belt or seat is required, it is the responsibility of the hirer to fit and remove such devices. Certain vehicles are fitted with ISOFIX, please enquire at time of booking. The driver or any AMAC Executive Transport staff will not under any circumstances fit these devices. The time taken to fit and remove such devices must be taken into account by the hirer. The hirer is not to make any attempt to make any modifications to the vehicle. The driver can refuse to allow any fitment that he considers dangerous or that might damage the vehicle. 

Vehicles will not carry anymore passengers than the driver deems fit or exceed the vehicles specifications. No animals are allowed in the vehicles with the exception of guide dogs which must be approved at time of booking. Guide dogs must be able to sit on the floor in the rear at the passengers feet, should be kept under control at all times and not be allowed onto the seating at any time.

 

 

Access

 

The hirer should ensure that adequate access, turnaround and exit for the vehicle(s) is available at all addresses to be attended. If at any point the driver feels that this is restricted in any way then the driver will stop at the nearest legal safe point available, regardless of the distance. The driver has the right to refuse to travel on any surface that he/she feels may cause damage to the vehicle. If you have an unmade or uneven road surface then please inform us at time of booking.

 

Collection

 

The driver will announce that the transport has arrived to the hirer at the address given on the booking form. Once the driver has announced his arrival, responsibility for timekeeping rests with the hirer. If the hirer/passengers are being collected from a hotel, it is advisable to make themselves available at the agreed time. The driver will make his presence known to the hotel reception staff and provide details of who is to be collected. The driver will drive in accordance with the law and Highway Code and will not break the speed limit in the event of poor timekeeping or any other reason.

 

 

Delays & Breakdowns

 

Where the driver considers an event may present a danger to the passengers or the vehicle, he will stop and abandon the journey. AMAC Executive Transport will endeavour to inform the hirer of any delay arising from either a vehicle breakdown or delays beyond our control. Whilst we make every effort to keep our vehicles in good order unforeseen events can arise. If the car you have booked develops a fault that cannot be rectified in a timely manner a second vehicle will be dispatched as a replacement. If the value of the replacement vehicle is less than the hired vehicle the difference will be refunded, if the value of the replacement vehicle is greater there will be no extra charge added. It is the hirers decision whether to accept a replacement. If this option is not accepted by the hirer the a full refund will be issued and our liability will be no further. In an emergency we may attempt to provide alternative transport from 3rd party companies but where we do, the 3rd party’s terms and conditions must be adhered to. Whilst every effort is taken in finding the best routes for your journey circumstances beyond our control may arise. Road works, local events, rural activities, road closure, accidents and weather conditions can affect journey times. Any delays en-route to any location is beyond our control. No liability can be accepted for any of the above examples. 

 

 

Adverse Weather Conditions

 

We will make every effort to uphold our responsibilities and make your journey run smoothly. However with the weather being unpredictable, in the event of adverse weather we will decide if it is safe to operate our vehicle. Should we feel that it would be hazardous to operate in the given conditions the hirer will be notified and a full refund issued with no further liability, however in the event of a red weather warning the decision has been removed from us and no vehicles will be permitted to carry out any hires, no refund will be given under this scenario and we advise hirers to have insurance in place to cover this possibility. AMAC Executive Transport do not provide this type of insurance. We will always observe safe operating practices and safety shall not be compromised. During the winter months it may be advisable to have a back up plan should inclement weather be forecast.

 

 

Damage to Vehicle

 

If any member of the hirer’s party causes damage/theft to AMAC Executive Transport property or incites others to cause damage/theft to the vehicle or its contents, the hirer will be held responsible and liable for all repair/restore costs to the vehicle. Damage/theft to either the interior or exterior are both the responsibility of the hirer. Total repair cost will include the cost of repair, loss of bookings and any other incurred costs.

 

 

Cleaning

 

AMAC Executive Transport vehicles will arrive in a clean presentable condition. We cannot be held responsible for any external road dirt incurred on way to collection of the hirer. Should a passenger be taken unwell in the car a cleaning and loss of use charge will be levied.

 

 

Limitation of Liability

 

AMAC Executive Transport are not responsible for delays or cancellations of ceremonies or receptions, missed appointments or delays, traffic congestion, poor weather conditions, incorrectly advised timings, incomplete address details or other circumstances beyond our control.

 

 

Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to amend our Terms and Conditions at any time. Existing confirmed hirers will be notified of any changes.
